“When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. […] don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.”

One of the main factors that will help you have a great day is peace.
However, it is important to know that you cannot have peace, real peace, unless you have Jesus Christ in your life. Why? Simply because He is also called the “Prince of Peace”.
With Jesus Christ in your life, it will be easier for you to do something: totally submit yourself to God. Submission will help you get real peace because you will always rely on this fact : God knows better than me what I really need.
Then, you will ask and receive, because you will be grateful. Your only desire will be to give God all the glory in your life because of what He has done in it. You won’t do anymore what you want, but what God wants you to do because you will trust Him.
It will be hard, but you will always realize that it was worth it.
This morning, and for the rest of your life: submit yourself to God!
